Vince McMahon will always be regarded as one of the greatest pioneers in the wrestling business. He revolutionized the business like no other and his contributions made his company, WWE, a global giant. Despite retiring earlier this year, speculations have emerged that Mr. McMahon is eyeing a comeback.

Vincent Kennedy McMahon took over a regional promotion from his father, Vincent J. McMahon, in 1982 and revamped it into the global juggernaut we know today. He is also known for his portrayal of the evil boss Mr. McMahon, stepping in the ring with the likes of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and his greatest rival Stone Cold Steve Austin.

WWE underwent a major change this year with the sudden retirement of Vince McMahon in July 2022. This came during the time McMahon faced various sexual allegations and hush money scandals, with Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan taking over as co-CEOs and Triple H being appointed as Head of Creative. However, The Wall Street Journal reports that Vince McMahon might make a comeback and also mentioned McMahon’s decision to retire as bad advice from his close ones.

“Vince McMahon has also told people that he intends to make a comeback at WWE, saying he got bad advice from people close to him to step down and that he now believes the allegations and investigations would have blown over had he stayed.”

The report by Rebecca Ballhaus also stated that Vince McMahon believed that all the scandals he was involved in would have blown over had he stayed. With WWE’s new management doing a fantastic job at the moment, adding Vince McMahon back to the mix could significantly affect the current regime’s work ethic.
