Nia Jax was one of the top stars in WWE’s women’s division after her 2016 main roster call up. Her time in NXT was decent in comparison, as she never really won any titles, unlike on the main roster. She has been gone from WWE for a very long time now and fans don’t really miss her either. That being said, Nia Jax still shut down changes of a return at the Royal Rumble event this month.
The controversial star was not seen on WWE television since the September 20th 2021 edition of Monday Night RAW. Eventually, she was released by the company entirely, something that truly made fans happier than ever.
While speaking on Renee Paquette’s The Sessions podcast, Nia Jax was asked about returning to WWE. Nia Jax made it clear that she has absolutely no interest in returning during the Royal Rumble.
“I was like, ‘Oh, f*ck no, I’m not coming back.’ He was like, ‘Oh, well, we’d like to offer you this.’ I said, ‘First of all, I already know I’m still under my 90 days [non-compete clause]. You’re still gonna be paying me anyways, so you’re not offering me anything. No, I’m not f*cking coming back. Absolutely f*cking not.'”
Nia Jax also previously refused to acknowledge her run in WWE. She is also unsure about her pro wrestling future. We’ll have to see what Jax will do next, but a future in WWE is certainly not in the cards.
