Nia Jax has been forging her own path outside of wrestling since WWE released her in November of last year. During her time away from the ring, Nia has been offering fans premium content on her BrandArmy website. It looked like she might be close to wrestling again, but the Wrestling Entertainment Series fell apart before it ever got started.

Now going by her real name, Lina Fanene, the former WWE superstar recently addressed her future in pro wrestling. She does not anticipate a full-time return to the ring. However, she would be happy to do some wrestling here and there.

In an interview on the Wives of Wrestling podcast, Nia Jax said she would be open to the right creative storyline. Full-time wrestling is likely out of the question after the toll it took on her. If a good opportunity came, though, she would consider it.

“I always said I would never wrestle again. I don’t know if I’d ever, I don’t think I’d go back to full-time wrestling because it was, it’s crazy because now they have it different, but it just took a lot. It took a toll on me, but I wouldn’t mind going back and doing like a fun little story and, you know, putting somebody over… something like that.”

Nia Jax spent eight years as a WWE superstar. She took some time away from the company but was fired when she asked for an extension. Since then, Nia has been doing her own thing.

Time will tell if Nia Jax ever makes a return to the ring. While she previously said it was out of the question, it sounds like she has softened on the idea a bit. For the time being, Lina Fanene is doing what works for her.
