Mandy Rose had a solid run in NXT, where she was the NXT Women’s Champion for 413 days, becoming a big deal in the brand. Unfortunately, that has become irrelevant as Rose was fired by WWE last week. The circumstances surrounding her WWE release continue to be a huge topic of discussion even now. That being said, a lot of people called out WWE for firing Mandy Rose and now it seems even Madusa decided to slam the company.

Mandy Rose was released from her WWE contract due to content she posted behind her premium content paywall. It was reported that Mandy Rose was not even given chance to take down her premium content before her WWE release.

Fans called out WWE for firing Rose for such a thing, while they did not release Matt Riddle for constantly violating their Wellness Policy, among other things. While speaking on the Wrestling Perspective podcast, Madusa called out WWE for double standards when it came to Rose’s firing. She noted how men would get warnings and not get fired.

“I think there are things that still need to be changed. If it was a double standard, if there was no warning for her, guys get warnings in this business, and they’re still employed there, which is unfortunate.”

Even Kevin Nash has an issue with the way WWE released Mandy Rose. WWE also isn’t closing the door on Mandy Rose’s return to the company in the future. Mandy Rose will have no trouble finding other opportunities in pro wrestling, so we will have to wait and see what the future holds for Mandy Rose.
