Saraya Would Love To Be A Heel In AEW

Saraya is hailed as trailblazer for women’s pro wrestling as she accomplished a lot in WWE during her time there. After WWE decided not to renew her contract, Saraya looked for work elsewhere – notably in AEW. It has been a while since Saraya debuted there and she is currently a babyface. However, it seems Saraya is more than open to being a heel in the future.

Saraya debuted in AEW a couple of months ago and took the pro wrestling world by storm. She went on to defeat Britt Baker at AEW Full Gear, which was her first match in over five years.

While speaking to Pro Wrestling Bits, Saraya made it clear that she would love to be a heel in AEW. This is especially because her input would matter more in AEW than it ever did in WWE.

“I would love to be a heel if I’m being honest. I have so many different ideas being a heel, and I always say to people it’s so much easier to be a heel than a babyface because it’s hard, especially in today’s world, to get people to like you straight out of the gate. So, I’m actually going to start from scratch again, but being a heel, it’s so easy to get people to hate you.”

Saraya was also blown up after her in-ring debut. Saraya will be partnering up with a partner of her choice and duke it out with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter on the January 11th edition of AEW Dynamite next year. We’ll have to see who her mystery opponent will end up being.
