Hit Row member Top Dolla transitioned from football to professional wrestling, and it didn’t take all that long to get used to it. AJ Francis, alongside his Hit Row members, had a solid run in NXT. Unfortunately, their main roster run ended before it began, as they were released back in 2021. They are back now, but it seems fans really aren’t happy to see them – especially Top Dolla. Dolla suffered a huge botch on Smackdown this week, and now he decided to defend himself with proof.

Hit Row squared off against Legado Del Fantasma and Viking Raiders in a triple threat match on SmackDown. During the contest, Top Dolla tried to perform the leaping plancha. However, he badly botched the move and had a tumble to the outside.

Naturally, fans ridiculed Top Dolla for the botch. The Hit Row member took to Twitter and uploaded a video of himself in an indie show, where he performed the plancha perfectly. Dolla added that he was 50 pounds heavier at that time, but still performed the move well.

I was 50 lbs heavier in this video than I am now. My leg gave out on live TV and some of y’all jokes are actually very funny but calling me a liar is super weird. It could’ve been way worse so I’m blessed 🙏🏽 Y’all don’t care doe

An alternative angle of that unfortunate botch has been making rounds on social media. Following the win, it was announced that Hit Row will face The Usos next week for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. Regardless, we hope Top Dolla doesn’t suffer a similar botch ever again.
