Vince McMahon was the Chairman of WWE for several years and ruled the company with an iron fist. That all came crashing down earlier this year after he was accused of sexual assault and the subsequent hush money scandal that followed. Recent reports had then suggested that McMahon planned on returning to WWE, which many fans and even pro wrestlers were against. In fact, WWE talent are much happier without McMahon around.

Vince McMahon is facing yet another lawsuit for allegedly assaulting woman. However, that is not the most concerning story for most fans, as Vince McMahon is also making plans for WWE return. Due to this, fans even started a petition to prevent McMahon from returning to WWE. In fact, McMahon’s return to WWE is big risk for the company’s sponsors.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, many within WWE feel that the company is better off without Vince McMahon. In fact, talent are much happier in general without him in charge.

“The general feeling within the company is that things are so much better without McMahon there. Certainly the talent is happier.

While there have been weak Raw ratings the last two weeks, they are up in 18-49 for Raw, Smackdown and NXT over the same period one year ago, while their competition has declined, and that doesn’t factor in that USA Network itself has dropped 5.7 percent in homes available over the past year.

In addition, the demand for tickets for major events at this point is very high, although that had been the case really since WrestleMania and with McMahon in charge.”

Ric Flair also believes Vince McMahon is entitled to make his WWE return. McMahon’s possible return is also an exhausting ideal internally in WWE. It remains to be seen whether the former WWE Chairman will return to the company.
