Mandy Rose was released from her WWE contract today, and fans were shocked by this news. It all stemmed from Premium Content behind her paywall, and fans leaking those NSFW photos and videos. Although some people aren’t shocked that WWE laid the hammer down for breaking their morality clause, Mandy Rose was caught off-guard.

We previously noted that the BrandArmy content Mandy Rose put up, under the name Mandy Sacs, caught WWE’s attention. This content was available for fans who paid a flat fee, but spicier content was offered for per item purchases.

According to Bryan Alvarez, behind his own Twitter paywall, he noted that Mandy Rose was “very much caught off guard by the firing.” She was not alone, because her Toxic Attraction stablemates Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne are also heartbroken.

Mandy Rose was set to defend the NXT Title against Roxanne Perez at New Year’s Evil. That match was moved up to this week thanks to an in-ring angle at the beginning of the show. Word started making its way around backstage at NXT that Mandy Rose was set to drop her title in abrupt fashion, and that’s what happened.

Mandy Rose will likely have a 90-day non-compete clause, because she was in NXT under a main roster contract. Only time will tell what happens next, but now Mandy Rose doesn’t have to worry about upsetting a company by posting behind her paywall.
