Roxanne Perez accomplished a lot within nine months of her NXT debut. The 21-year-old got the biggest win of her NXT career by beating Mandy Rose for her title tonight.

Roxanne Perez captured the gold in the main event of NXT this week. The prodigy put an end to Mandy Rose’s historic NXT Women’s Championship reign with Pop Rox.

WWE acknowledged Roxanne Perez’s history with Ring of Honor during the match as well. Booker T brought up his star pupil’s past as the first-ever ROH Women’s World Champion.

Perez received a standing ovation when she arrived backstage after the match. The newly-crowned NXT Women’s Champions received a warm hug from Shawn Michaels as well.
