Arn Anderson is a legendary wrestler who was the founding member of the Four Horseman. While his wrestling days are behind him, he has took to being a part of AEW where he is a coach and manager.

Anderson recently did a Q&A session on AdFreeShows where he revealed his AEW contract is set to expire in a year and a half. He is planning on “being retired from the business” after being done with the contract. He also went on to say that 2023 would be “me on the beach.”

It appears a slip of tongue occured during Anderson’s Q&A session. Anderson was quick to address the mishap on Twitter. In the same post we saw him expressing his gratitude to Tony Khan for granting him and his son the opportunity to be a part of AEW.

“Just to be clear, I am under contract with AEW for another year and a half. I hope to be able to repay Tony for having Brock and I as a part of AEW and I have many friends who work there. I misspoke when I said 2023.
If I created any incorrect narrative, I apologize. The truth is, I would like to be around for as long as I can contribute to the business and am still having fun. I’m sure the article in question didn’t spark mass panic, but I just wanted to clear up my mistake. I believe a person’s word means something, even in our crazy world!

Anderson’s involvement in AEW television has been pretty sparse throughout 2022. His son Brock Anderson has also been pretty absent, being part of only 5 matches since June. Brock did however challenge Daniel Garcia for the ROH Pure Championship on the November 15 episode of AEW Dark.
