Barry Windham is widely considered to be one of the best in-ring performers to ever lace up a pair of boots. As we reported earlier, the WWE Hall of Famer was fighting for his life. We now have a positive update on Barry’s health.

The 62-year-old suffered a heart attack this past Friday while traveling through the Atlanta airport. The news was shared by Windham’s niece, Mika Rotunda (the sister of Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas). Mika recently shared a positive update on Uncle Barry’s health.

Mika also set up a fundraiser to help Windham’s family pay for medical expenses. She took to Twitter and thanked everyone who had reached out, prayed, contributed and sent their well-wishes during this struggle. Mika shared that he is stabilized and out of ICU. Barry is now talking, and he is also able to stand.

Thank you to all who have reached out, prayed, contributed and sent well wishes to my Uncle Barry this week.

I wanted to give an update!
I’m grateful to say he is stabilized & out of ICU. Talking & able to stand.

Thanks again everyone!❤️
There absolutely is power in prayer.

This is the second time Barry Windham has suffered a heart attack. The former NWA World Heavyweight Champion went into cardiac arrest in 2011, and doctors had to perform an emergency procedure on him at the time as well. We at Ringside News would like to send our thoughts and prayers to the Windham family.
