Saraya brought eyeballs to All Elite Wrestling ever since she arrived to the promotion. The former WWE Divas champion is the latest example of a return to the squared circle after a career-ending injury. She is also known to be close friends with fellow AEW colleague, Renee Paquette, and it seems like Saraya might be up to team up with her in the future.

Renee Paquette became popular for her stint in WWE under the name Renee Young. She left the promotion after working with them for nearly 8 years. After pursuing other ventures for a while, she debuted in AEW as a backstage correspondent in October 2022.

Saraya and Renee are known to be close acquaintances since their WWE days. They continue to appear in various segments in AEW nowadays and might make an interesting tag team together. Saraya recently asked who she should team with, and Paquette replied with a gif. Then Saraya responded to Renee’s post on Twitter volunteering to be her partner.

“I swear renee do not tease me with a good time haha.”

Renee would then propose to learn some wrestling moves to match up to the former Anti-Diva’s caliber and make a great tag team with Saraya being down to the idea.

What if i promise to work on a very strong lariat and perhaps a DDT?

Saraya quickly responded by saying: “Done.” The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion made her return to the ring for the first time in nearly 5 years. She squared off against Dr. Britt Baker at AEW Full Gear and managed to put down the AEW star to score her first victory in the promotion.
