Andrade El Idolo joined AEW in hopes of showcasing his true potential to the world, but he’s yet to achieve his goals in the Jacksonville-based promotion. El Idolo is also recovering from terrible injury, and is expected to remain out of action for the foreseeable future.

For those not in the know, Andrade El Idolo tore his pectoral muscle during a trios tag team match on House of The Dragon special edition of AEW Dynamite in August 2022. Andrade revealed he got injured after taking suplex during the initial moments of the match.

The AEW star recently took to Twitter to talk about his professionalism. Andrade said he completed the match despite getting injured minutes into the trios bout against The Elite. He posted a clip of the match as well.

I was injured but always professional I finished the match, the most beautiful thing is to listen to the universe of fans and get up. Un latino siempre con la frente en alto.

AEW has previously teased his unhappiness with the promotion. It remains to be seen if the former WWE NXT Champion will return to AEW after his recovery. Keep reading Ringside News for more.
