Andrade El Idolo was looking to establish himself as a main event star in Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling. Despite an impressive start, Andrade has yet to reach his full potential in AEW. He has not been seen in action for a while due to an injury and has dropped a photo to share an update after his surgery.

Andrade suffered a torn pectoral muscle on House of The Dragon edition of AEW Dynamite in August 2022. The injury occurred during the start of the match as Andrade, Dragon Lee and Rush battled The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks). A few days ago, Andrade revealed that he underwent his first surgery and now has dropped another post on Instagram showing off his healing wound after going under the knife.

“3 weeks!!!
🎥 @charlottewwe.”

The 33-year-old star made a name for himself in WWE for his tenure from 2015 until 2021 when his request for release was granted by the company. Andrade El Idolo then chose to jump ship to AEW in hopes of carving out a main event caliber career in the land of Elite in June 2021.
