Thunder Rosa is one of the best in-ring female pro wrestlers in the world right now, but that doesn’t mean she can’t get injured. The Mexican star has been on the shelf for quite a long time now, but it seems she finally has some positive news to share regarding her recovery.

Rosa was pulled from AEW All Out due to a back injury and was the AEW Women’s Champion while she was still on the shelf. However, Rose eventually forfeited the AEW Women’s Championship after Jamie Hayter won the Interim Title by defeating Toni Storm at AEW Full Gear.

While speaking on her Vlog, the former AEW Women’s Champion provided an update on her recovery process. Thunder Rosa revealed that she is finally able to lift weights again.

”The recovery is going really well. I just, this week, I was just able to do squats with a two-pound dumbbell. I haven’t done any lifting for the last four or five months, which is huge. Two weeks ago, I was able to do a 5K, which I walked half the way, cause I’m not allowed to run. I can jog, that’s pretty much it. Those are big milestones for me. I have not been able to be in the ring yet, so we’re working on that.”

Thunder Rosa has already reacted to forfeiting the title. We will have to wait and see when Rosa will finally be able to make her return to the squared circle, as fans do miss her now. As of this writing, she is still under AEW contract, and we can only imagine how she will fight to regain her AEW Women’s World Title upon her return.
