Austin Theory continues to be one of WWE’s developing prospects, as he hones his craft on a weekly basis on television. The young star has already cemented himself as a solid mid-carder, and his future is certainly bright. He also had a brief confrontation with John Cena earlier this year, and it meant a lot to him.

As people know, Theory was taking shots at John Cena and has even been compared to him. He had a brief confrontation with John Cena a few months ago, but nothing else happened after that.

The aforementioned confrontation happened on Monday Night RAW, where Theory made it clear that he is the future of WWE and isn’t afraid of The Leader Of Cenation. While speaking to City News Ottawa, Austin Theory reflected on the moment. Theory stated that getting to work with his idol, even for two minutes, meant a lot to him.

“That was a huge moment for me actually because that was the first time that I have done anything on screen with John and for it to be a promo was pretty special and not just a walk by, it was a confrontation and just getting to have that two minutes with him, it meant a lot to me.”
