WarGames was a Dusty Rhodes’ creation before Triple H brought the concept all over to NXT. The Game found the perfect opportunity to take the innovative matchup to the main roster and merge it with Survivor Series following Vince McMahon’s departure from WWE.

The Game was asked whether he intended to make WarGames an annual fixture on the main roster during the post-Survivor Series media scrum. Check out his reply here:
“We’ll see. I think as I mentioned it worked out incredibly well tonight, but we’ll see how it goes. In the process of looking at the year-to-year schedule as to where things go, but I feel positive about it, but we’ll see where that takes us.”
Triple H touted the success of WWE Survivor Series WarGames as well. It remains to be see if WWE Chief Content Officer will make WarGames a permanent part of Survivor Series.
