WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world. He was brought back to WWE earlier this year, but that stint didn’t last long because Triple H moved in and brought on Road Dogg to take Double J’s spot. In fact, Road Dogg even apologized to Jeff Jarrett for taking his job.

Jeff Jarrett made his return to WWE in May of this year, working backstage with the company. He was hired as Senior Vice President of Live Events. However, he was then fired, but his unemployment didn’t last long.

Road Dogg was hired back by WWE, and he took over Jeff Jarrett’s role in the company.  While speaking on the latest episode of ‘Oh You Didn’t Know,’ Road Dogg apologized to Jeff Jarrett for taking his job.

Look, you can be doing your job, and one day someone not like it, and the next day you’re not there.

Laughs] Bless his heart, I’m so sorry. It hurts me when you say that. But I bet it hurts him a hell of a lot more. [Laughs] I’m so sorry Jeff.”

Jeff Jarrett is currently working in AEW and is more than happy there. Tony Khan has plans for Double J to help with future AEW live events. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for him. If anything, it seems that Road Dogg and Jeff Jarrett are doing just fine in their current gigs.
