Early in the fall, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, known as The Good Brothers, returned to WWE after their contracts from IMPACT Wrestling expired. The complication was Anderson is the current NJPW NEVER Openweight Champion, and there was an issue with him trying to defend the title.

It’s possible that the situation was sorted out because Anderson will head to Japan to defend the title. That being said, Anderson is not going alone.

In a video that was published on his Instagram account, Anderson confirmed that he will defend the Never Championship on December 14th at NJPW’s World Tag League & Super Jr. Tag League Night 17. Anderson confirmed that his tag team partner and previous NJPW star Luke Gallows will be by his side.

At the end of the video on the tour bus, you see AJ Styles and he, Gallows and Anderson did the “Too Sweet” hand gesture. They asked if Styles approve, and he said he does.

This is great exposure for WWE and NJPW to be involved with the Never Championship being on the line. Would be nice for Styles to show up at the event, or even the possibility of a build on WWE TV. We’ll see what happens next.
