Thunder Rosa was forced to vacate the AEW Women’s World Championship due to an unfortunate injury. Toni Storm took Rosa’s place as interim champion for a long time. However, that changed after Jamie Hayter beat Storm for the title at AEW Full Gear, but Shawn Spears isn’t a fan of interim titles in general.

Jamie Hayter won the title at AEW Full Gear much to the surprise of fans, as they simply couldn’t believe the outcome. Hayter won the match with help from Dr. Britt Baker and Rebel.

However, Jamie Hayter was still considered the Interim champion, and many people didn’t like this decision. Shawn Spears took to Twitter and made it clear that he hates interim titles and believes they are meaningless.

This “interim” stuff is bullsh*t. You’re either the Champion, or you’re not.

Thunder Rosa might still be stripped of her AEW Women’s Championship. We will have to wait and see how Jamie Hayter will be booked as the champion in the coming months.
