Zero Hour Match: The Factory vs The Best Friends, Rocky Romero, & Danhausen

The Factory’s theme song played and the group came out to the ring. The Best Friends Music played and they walk out.

The match starts with Chuck Taylor and Aaron Solo in the ring. Solo knocks down Taylor with a right hand. Taylor tags in Trent Barretta who goes to work on Solo.

Solo tags in Lee Johnson but he is taken down.

Trent tags in Rocky who hits a dropkick. Rocky tags in Chuck and Rocky hits the forever clotheslines. QT comes in but is getting bounced around with right hand..

All members of the Best Friends take out by The Factory and they mock The Best Friends. Lee Johnson attacks Trent in the corner. He tags in Nick who continues to attack Trent.

Trent is sent outside. Lee Johnson sends him back in. Nick tags out. Carter goes for a frog splash but Trent gets his knees up. Carter tags in QT, Trent with a back suplex to QT.

Both men tag their partners. Orange Cassidy with his trademark kicks and sends Nick outside with a dropkick. He takes down Johnson and Solo with a hurricanrana. QT sends Orange into the apron and Orange slams QT into the turnbuckle followed by a crossbody.

The Factory attacks Orange Cassidy in the corner. QT goes for a cutter but is blocked and hit with a tornado DDT. Nick takes out Trent but he is taken out by Rocky Romero.

The Best Friends dive onto The Factory. Orange goes for the orange punch but QT hits the cutter. QT sets Orange up for the piledriver but Danhausen’s music plays and he comes out to the ring.

Orange tags him in. He hits the German suplex and then a Northern Lights suplex. He hits another German suplex on Lee Johnson. Orange with an orange punch to Nick. Danhausen with a kick to Nick for the win.

Winner: The Best Friends, Rocky Romero, Danhausen

After the match, Best Friends sends QT to the ring and Dauhausen hits him with the spike and they do their signature hug.

Renee interviews Takeshita who says he was looking forward to the match and he is happy to come to AEW. He says he is honored to join AEW and thanks the fan. He says he dreamed of wrestling in America since he was a child.

Zero Hour Match: World Title Eliminator Tournament Semi-Final – Brian Cage vs. Ricky Starks

Brian Cage’s music hits and he comes out with Prince Nana. Ricky Starks’ music plays next and he comes out to the ring.

The match starts with Cage attacking Starks. Both men exchange strikes. Cage sends Starks outside and sends him into the barricade. Cage with a back suplex onto the apron. Starks fights back and sends Cage back into the ring.

Brian Cage suplexes Starks into the ring. Cage attacks Starks in the corner. Ricky fights back but not enough.

Ricky with a chop but no effect as Cage hits the backbreaker. Brian attacks Ricky in the corner. Ricky fights back again with some strikes but stopped by Brian. Starks with an elbow and a clothesline.

Starks climbs the top rope and goes for a crossbody but is caught by Brian who hit the backbreaker. Cover! 1….2….kick out.

Starks with a tornado DDT. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Cage picks up Ricky but he rolls up. 1…2…kick out. Starks hit the spear. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Brian with a powerbomb followed by the discus lariat. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Cage climbs the top rope and dives but misses. Cage picks up Starks but he counters in the destroyer and hits the rochambeau for the win.

Renne interviews Eddie Kingston who says he doesn’t want to talk. He continues that he was 18 years old when he saw Akiyama fight. He says that he can’t focus now because minds on the match.

Zero Hour Match: Jun Akiyama vs. Eddie Kingston

Jun Akiyama’s music hits and he walks out to the ring. Eddie Kingston’s theme song plays and he comes out to the ring.

The match begins with Kingston knocking down Akiyama. Kingston with a full nelson but Akiyama gets to the rope. Both men exchange strikes and Kingston with the advantage.

Akiyama climbs the second turnbuckle but is knocked down by Kingston. Akiyama hits the DDT on the apron and follows with a guillotine knee. Akiyama stomps Kingston.

Jun with a piledriver. Cover! 1..2…kick out. Akiyama with a knee strike. Jun climbs the top rope but is stopped by Kingston who hits bites him and hits the superplex.

Kingston with vicious machine gun-style chops in the corner but no effect as Jun starts attacking him. Now, Kingston with chops of his own followed by the half and half. Jun gets up and hits the exploder. Eddie does the same and Jun gets back up and hits a knee strike. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

Kingston with a DDT. He then hits the hurricane backfist. Cover! 1…2…kick out. He goes for it again but Jun blocks it and hits the exploder suplex followed by a knee strike. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Kingston slams Akiyama. Cover! 1…2..kick out. He hits the hurricane backfist for the win.

He gets on the mic and says it’s not about him and thanks the fans for showing up. He thanks Jun Akiyama and asks fans to order the PPV. He says his man Moxley is going to beat MJF.

He also promotes Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter and says he’s got to go.

The commentators run through the main card. Jim Ross’ music plays and he joins the commentary team.

Steel Cage Match: ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry vs. Luchasaurus

Christian Cage’s music plays and he walks out. Luchasaurus’s music plays next and he joins Christian Cage as they both walk to the ring. Jack Perry’s music plays next and he walks out to the ring.

Jack attacks Luchasaurus but is sent into the corner. Perry with a dropkick. He attacks Luchasaurus in the corner. Luchasaurus with a big boot and sends Jack into the steel cage.

Jack is busted open as Luchasaurus grinds his face into the cage. Luchasaurus throws Perry in the ring. Luchasaurus attacks Jack Perry in the corner. He hits the backbreaker. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Luchasaurus sends Jack Perry into the steel cage. Jack Perry tries to fight back but no effect as Luchasaurus throws Jack into the steel cage. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Jack Perr traps Luchasaurus’ arm in the rope and he climbs the top rope but is thrown off. Luchasaurus hits the cut-throat. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Luchasaurus intimidates the referee.

Christian Cage grabs the cage’s key from the referee without him noticing. The referee calls security who come out and grab Christian. Luchasaurus attacks the security guard. Jack Perry jumps on Luchasaurus. He goes for a dropkick but is caught and catapulted into the cage.

Luchasaurus pulls out a table from under the rings sends it inside the ring. He slams Jack Perry into the cage again. Luchasaurus places a couple of chairs in the ring. Luchasaurus slams Jack’s face on the steel steps before sending him into the ring.

Jack with strikes and follows it with dropkick. He dropkicks Luchasaurus into the steel cage. Jack kicks Luchasaurus’ head into the cage. He goes for a powerbomb but is reversed by Luchasaurus. He sets up a chair in the ring. Luchasaurus goes for a chokeslam but Jack counters into a destroyer and hits the killswitch on the chair. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

Jack Perry sets up a chair in the ring. Luchasaurus picks up and chokeslams Jack onto the steel chair. Cover! 1…2..kick out. Luchasaurus sets up Jack Perry in the corner but Jack hits the avalanche slice bread. Luchasaurus sits up and so does Jack.

Luchasaurus goes for the chokeslam but Jack jumps on his back. Luchasaurus counters hit and hits the tombstone piledriver and slams him. Cover! 1…2….kick out.

Luchasaurus sets up the table again. He picks up Jack but he locks in the sleeper as he fades. Jack sets him up on the table and hits him with a steel chair. Jack Perry climbs the cage and hits an elbow drop onto Luchasaurus. He then locks in the snare trap as Luchasaurus taps out.

Death Triangle’s music plays and the trio walks out to the ring. The Elite’s theme song plays and the group comes out to the ring.

The match begins with Kenny Omega and Pac in the ring. Pac attacks Kenny in the corner. Omega with a basement dropkick and goes for a facebuster but Pac counters and spits in Omega’s face.

Both men tag out. Matt and Fenxi showcase their skills with a sequence of moves. Both men tag out and they kick each other. Lucha Bros. go for thrust kicks but Young Bucks hit the superkick. Pac is also laid out with a superkick.

Matt tags in Kenny. Penta chops Kenny. Kenny with a hurricanrana. Nick Jackson jumps onto The Death Triangle.

Pac comes in and dropkicks Kenny. He tags in and continues to assault Kenny. Pac tags in Penta. Death Triangle with a dropkick. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Penta chops Kenny and tags in Pac who continues to attack Kenny.

Omega plants Pac and tags in Matt who hits the Northern Lights Suplex on the Lucha Bros. Penta with a dropkick on Matt. Penta kicks the legs of Matt. Matt tries to fight back and hits a dropkick. Penta tags in Pac. Pac tags in Fenix who attacks Matt. But Matt plants Fenix and tags in Nick.

Death Triangle hits the triple tombstone piledriver onto The Elite. Fenix dives onto Omega as Penta hits the destroyer. Pac hits the black arrow into the brutalizer. Nick breaks it up. Lucha Bros. dive onto the Young Bucks.

Pac tags in Fenix who kicks Kenny in the face. He hits the arm drag followed by the stomp. Pac tosses the hammer to Fenix but he is reluctant and throws the hammer away as Kenny hits the V Trigger. He hits Tiger Driver 98. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

Penta with a sling blade on The Elite. They superkick Penta. They hit the BTE Trigger on Fenix. Cover! 1..2… broken up by Pac. Nick superkicks Pac and dives onto him. Matt climbs the top rope and hits the moonsault. Kenny hits the V Trigger as Pac hands him the hammer. Kenny picks up Fenix for the One Winged Angel but Fenix hits Kenny with the hammer and rolls him up for the win.

Nyla takes out Kiera Hogan. Jade attacks Nyla and sends her into the ring. She continues to attack Nyla in the corner. Nyla sent to the outside. Jade kicks Nyla sending her into the crowd. Nyla sent back to ringside.

Jade sent into the steel steps. Nyla attacks Jade in the corner and body slams her into the mat. Nyla with a splash onto Jade. Nyla Rose attacks Jade in the corner. Jade fights back with a kick. She climbs the second turnbuckle and dives onto Nyla but Nyla gets her boot up. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

All four men brawl in the ring. Jericho sends Claudio outside and they continue to brawl. Claudio sends Jericho into the barricade. Sammy sent outside and Bryan with a suicide dive. Jericho attacks Danielson and sends him into the steel steps.

Danielson and Claudio attack Jericho. Sammy comes in and both men target him. Danielson and Claudio attack JAS in the corner and shake hands. Claudio and Bryan exchange strikes.

Claudio with a couple of uppercuts. Danielson catches an uppercut into the armbar. Jericho attacks Claudio with a kick. Jericho planted with a flapjack. Guevara with a double cutter on Bryan and Claudio. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

Jericho and Sammy hug in the ring. Both men with a shoulder tackle. Claudio sent to the outside. Jericho and Sammy with a double suplex to Danielson. Both men punch Bryan. Jericho hits the death valley driver. Cover! 1..2…kick out.

Sammy hits the envil elbows on Danielson but no effect as Bryan is able to get up and slaps him. He sends Guevara into Claudio who picks up and throws him onto Jericho. Danielson hits the Busaiku knee. Cover! 1..2..kick out.

Bryan with the anvil elbows, Claudio reverses it into the anvil elbows but Danielson escapes and does the same move. Claudio with a lariat. Cover! 1..2..kick out. Both men jockeying for position. Three-Way Match for the TNT Championship: Wardlow (c) vs. Samoa Joe vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

Powerhouse Hobbs’ music plays first and he comes out to the ring. Samoa Joe’s theme song plays next and he comes to the ring. Finally, Wardlow’s theme song plays and he walks out to the ring.

Wardlow attacks both men as Joe retreats. Wardlow goes after Joe and attacks him. Wardlow sends Joe into the post. Hobbs attacks Wardlow sending him into the steps. Hobbs sends Wardlow into the ring.

Hobbs hits the suplex but is attacked by Joe. Hobbs knocks down Joe with a elbow. Hobbs with a T-Bone suplex to Samoa Joe. Hobbs attacks Joe in the corner. Hobbs sends Wardlow into the corner but he climbs it and hits the moonsault. Wardlow takes out both men and climbs the top rope and hits the senton.

Joe hits the senton on Wardlow. Wardlow sent out of the ring. Joe attacks Hobbs in the corner. Joe this the atomic drop and follows it with a senton on Wardlow. Samoa Joe locks in the front headlock.

Wardlow with a shoulder tackle. He picks him Hobb and plants him, He hits the spinebuster on Joe. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Hobbs sent out of the ring. Joe dives onto both men and sends Hobbs into the barricade.

Tony interviews Jericho who says he expected Sammy to fight him. He also says that Sammy is a future champion. He is interrupted by Orange who says Tomohiro Ishii wants to fight Jericho who says he thinks of the young who used to carry his luggage.

He accepts Ishii’s challenge. Jake asks what is in the bag and Orange takes out his title and asks him to come and try to take it next week.

No Disqualification Match: Sting & Darby Allin vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal

Jay Lethal’s music plays and he walks out to the ring. Jeff Jarrett’s theme music plays and he comes out to the ring. Darby Allin’s theme song plays and he runs out and attacks Jay Lethal and the fake Stings. In the ring, Sting emerges as the bell rings.

Sting and Darby attack Jeff. Sting throws Jay onto the apron and continues the attack outside. Darby attacks Jeff Jarrett near the entrance. He hits the suplex on Jeff.

Darby gets a ladder from the backstage area. Darby climbs it and hits the coffin drop but is caught by Satnam Singh who throws him on the entrance ramp. Sting and Jay brawl in the crowd.

Sting dives onto Satnam Singh. Jeff sends Darby into the steel steps. He hits Darby with a steel chair before sending him back into the ring. Jeff hits the clothesline and tags in his partner.

Jay with the abdominal stretch. Both men collide heads in the ring. Both men tag their partners. Sting attacks both men. He hits the splash followed by the scorpion death lock on Jeff.

Sonjay tries to attack Sting but no effect. Satnam with a chokeslam to Sting. Cover! 1..2…kick out.Both men tag in their partners. Darby and Jay trade blows. Jay with a lethal combination on Allin. Cover! 1..2..kick out.

Jeff grabs his guitar and attempts to hit Darby but he moves out of the way and shoves Lethal into Jeff. He hits the stunner and goes for the coffin drop but Jeff hits him with his guitar. Darby kips up and attacks both men and hits the coffin splash.

Sting hits the scorpion death drop while Darby hits the coffin drop on Satnam. Darby dives out on Jeff, Jay goes for Lethal Injection but Sting hits the Scorpion Death Drop. Darby hits the coffin drop for the win.

Jamie Hayter’s music plays and she comes out to the ring. Toni Storm’s music plays next and she walks out to the ring.

Hayter with a strike to Toni. Storm with a dropkick followed by the hip attack. She sends Hayter into the barricade. Hayter sends Toni into the barricade. Hayter picks up Storm but is sent into the post.

Toni continues to attack Hayter. Hayter fights back and sends Toni into the barricade before getting back into the ring. Hayter with a suplex. Cover! 1…2…..kick out.

Swerve Strickland’s music plays first followed by Keith Lee and the two of them walk out to the ring. The Acclaimed’s music hit and they walked out with Max Castor rapping their song.

The match starts with both teams brawling. The Acclaimed send Lee out of the ring. Castor with an arm drag and a dropkick to Swerve. He tags in Bowens who hits a leg drop on Swerve’s legs. He continues to attack Swerve in the corner.

Swerve sends Bowens in their corner and tags in Lee. He hits the body slam. Swerve attacks Max outside and sends him into the barricade. Swerve sets up a barricade. Bowens fights back against Lee but is chopped down.

Lee sends Bowens into the turnbuckle and is dragged out by Swerve but is suplexed by Bowens. Bowens gets back in the ring. Lee picks up Bowens with one arm and knocks him down followed by a splash. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

Lee goes to work on Bowens. He tags in Swerve who continues to work on Bowens. He tags in Lee. Lee picks up Bowens but he hit the reverse hurricanrana. Both men tag in their partners. Max attacks both men. He dives onto Swerve.

He hist the hurricanrana. Max set up on the top rope and Lee chops him. Max throws Lee off the turnbuckle and hits the leg drop. He slams Swerve. Cover! 1..2…kick out. He tags in Bowens and they hit the cutter combination. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Swerve sent to the apron and Bowens hits the dropkick but Lee saves him. But Max hit the crossbody on Lee through the guard rail.

Bowens hits the DDT. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Swerve hits the jumping flatliner. He then kicks Bowens. Cover! 1….2…kick out. Swerve with another couple of kicks. Cover! 1..2…kick out. Swerve climbs the top rope but is stopped by Bowens. He kicks him off and goes for the stomp but missed and gets planted Bowen tags in Max who hits mic drop. Cover! 1…2..broken up by Keith Lee.

Swerve with a brainbuster to Max and he tags in Lee who attacks Max. He throws Max across the ring and hits Bowens with the pounce. He picks up Mix and they hit the fall from glory. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Lee tags in Swerve and picks up Max who tags in Bowens. Lee uses Max to attack Bowens and powerbomb him onto Bowens. Swerve sends Max over the ring announcer’s table. He tries to use the pliers but Billy Gunn comes to save him. Swerve sends Bowens into the ring and asks Lee to use the clippers but he throws it away.

Swerve slaps Lee who picks up Bowens and walks out on Swerve. Bowens Rolls up Swerve but no pinfall. Bowens with another rollup but no pinfall. Bowens tags in Max who hits the dropkick before tagging out again.

The Acclaimed slam Swerve Strickland for the win.

AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. MJF

MJF’s theme song plays first and he comes out to the ring. Jon Moxley’s music hits and he walks to the ring.

Mox starts by slapping MJF. MJF slaps him back. Moxley attacks MJF in the corner. Moxley sent outside. Moxley continues to attack MJF. MJF sends Moxley into the turnbuckle but Moxley fights back with a lariat.

Moxley slams MJF into the mat. He goes to work on MJF. MJF fights back but not enough as Moxley chops him down. Moxley hits the falcon arrow and attempts the armbar but MJF gets to the rope.

Moxley hits MJF with a lariat in the corner. MJF spits something into Moxley’s eye but not enough as he sends MJF into the steps. MJF gets back in the ring. Moxley continues to work on MJF.

MJF fights back with a lariat. MJF with an atomic drop and he starts punching Moxley. MJF starts slamming Moxley’s head into the turnbuckle. MJF sends Moxley into the turnbuckle.

MJF sets up the timekeeper’s table near the ring. Moxley hits the cutter on MJF. He viciously stomps MJF. MJF hits the tombstone piledriver on the apron. Cover! 1…2..kick out. MJF picks up Moxley but he fights out and hits the piledriver on MJF through the table.

Moxley gets back in the ring and the referee starts the count. MJF gets back in at the count of nine. Moxley hits the paradigm shift. Cover! 1….2…..kick out. Moxley locks in the figure four leg lock. MJF turns on his stomach forcing Moxley to grab the bottom rope.

MJF hits the heatsinker. Cover! 1,..2….kick out. Moxley reverses the heatsinker and attacks the knee of MJF. Moxley continues to go to work on MJF’s knee. Moxley climbs the top rope but is stopped by MJF who climbs up to meet Moxley but receives the anvil elbows. Moxley hits the avalanche paradigm shift. Cover! 1…2…MJF gets his hands on the rope.

MJF spits at Moxley and get knocked down. Both men trade blows but Moxley kicks the knee of MJF and goes for a strike but MJF pulls the referee in the way. MJF pulls out his diamond ring but Regal comes down and tells him not to think about it. MJF throws the ring outside.

Moxley locks in the the sleeper hold but MJF rolls on him. Cover! 1..2…kick out. Again Moxley locks in the sleeper hold but the referee gets knocked down again. Moxley locks the Bulldog choke and MJF taps but the referee doesn’t see. Regal asks Moxley to get the referee and he passes the brass knuckles to MJF who hits Moxley and pins him.

Winner: MJF (c)

After the match, MJF celebrates with the AEW World Championship.
