WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle remains one of the most accomplished and beloved pro wrestlers of all time. He has done a lot for the business and put his body through torture for the entertainment of fans. He has suffered a laundry list of injuries, in fact. Kurt Angle believes back injuries are worse than any other kind of injuries.

Kurt Angle’s body still suffered a lot due to his in-ring career and even now, he feels the effects. Kurt Angle would then undergo double knee replacement surgery.

While speaking on this week’s episode of The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle reflected on Survivor Series 2002, and reports at the time that he would be working a lighter schedule because of his back. Angle claimed that there is nothing worse back injuries.

“Ever since high school. I had some back problems in high school. But I didn’t have any [as serious] as up until this moment. The thing is, with my back, it was really painful.

What I want to tell you is this. Breaking my neck five times, it debilitates you, where you can’t do certain things, especially in your arms. Your arms go numb and sometimes you lose strength in your arms. Your back controls everything. You can’t do anything when your back is hurting.

But your back controls everything. You can’t do anything when your back is hurting. I’ll give you an example. Randy Orton just had surgery on his back. He literally couldn’t do anything. This surgery is actually, hopefully, saving his career. But that’s how much back problems can affect you as a pro wrestler.”

Kurt Angle proved that he still has pro wrestling in his veins, no matter what, after returning to RAW earlier this year. We will have to wait and see whether Angle will return to WWE or not.
