Ronda Rousey is most definitely one of the most well-known names to make her way from the world of combat sports to professional wrestling. She is also known to say a lot of things that people don’t agree with. In fact, even Madusa went after Rousey for one of her recent comments.

The Baddest Woman On The Planet also voiced her opinion when it came to the representation of women in WWE. This included the time she wanted WWE to change and rename their women’s title. During her YouTube series, Rousey spoke her mind on the topic.

“I don’t want to say ‘women’ in title anymore. And I think they are kind of resistant to taking it out. So then I was like, ‘Can I just not have to say it?’ So then that’s kind of where it’s at.”

While speaking with The A2theK Wrestling Show, WWE Hall Of Famer Madusa addressed Ronda Rousey wanting to rename the WWE Women’s titles and simply blasted her for that suggestion.

“Ronda Rousey came out saying, ‘I’m taking the name Women’s out of the title.’ I’m like, ‘what the f*ck for?’ I mean, so we just call it ‘The Title?’ Intercontinental is for men. I get what she’s saying, right? But then if we just have ‘SmackDown,’ does that mean then it’s for men and women? Is it an intergender now? I’m confused, but I understand what she’s trying to say.”

Ronda Rousey also stated that her run with WWE right now is easier. We will have to wait and see just how Ronda Rousey is booked as the Smackdown Women’s Champion in the coming months.
