Gallus made their NXT debut in convincing fashion. Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang attacked Diamond Mine during the HeatWave special. The trio were “suspended indefinitely” for their actions during a previous episode of NXT. They still haven’t received the word to return to in-ring action.

WWE provided updated on Gallus’ status during NXT this week. Xavier Bernal cut a promo backstage wherein he issued a challenge for one of the Gallus’ members. McKenzie Mitchel informed him that the group’s suspension status remained intact and Bernal would have to figure out another opponent for himself.

Big Body Javy then issued a challenge for Ilja Dragunov, but was once again told by Mitchel that The Czar was injured and rehabbing in Germany. According to WWE, Dragunov suffered possible internal damage during his match with JD McDonagh during a previous episode of NXT.

Gallus were suspended following the chaos that broke out during the main event of the September 27, 2022, edition of NXT. The trio assaulted security officials and a referee after losing the pub rules tag team match to Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen.
