WWE Confirms Ilja Dragunov’s Injury During NXT This Week

Ilja Dragunov crossed the pond to challenge Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship at NXT Halloween Havoc. The Czar showed incredible resilience but failed to win the match that also involved JD McDonagh.

WWE confirmed Ilja Dragunov’s injury during NXT tonight. Xavier Bernal challenged Dragunov to a match. McKenzie Mitchel informed him that Dragunov was injured and rehabbing in Germany.

Ilja Dragunov last appeared during the October 25, 2022, episode of NXT. The former NXT UK Champion took on archrival McDonagh in the main event of the show that night.

Dragunov passed out from a bodyscissors, and was stretchered out from the ring because he suffered internal bleeding during the match. McDonagh cut a heel promo after the match to end the show.
