Triple H became WWE’s Chief Content Officer and immediately introduced drastic changes to the overall product and presentation. The Game renamed the annual Survivor Series premium live event to Survivor Series WarGames.

The premium live event will feature two WarGames matches, a concept Triple H had already successfully experimented with during his time as the head booker of NXT. Another match was added to the card last night on SmackDown.

Ronda Rousey will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Shotzi Blackheart at the big show. Shotzi Blackheart earned the title shot following a six-pack challenge last night on SmackDown.

WWE seemingly teased the participants of the Men’s WarGames match during SmackDown last night, when The Bloodline entered into a huge brawl with Drew McIntyre, Butch, Ridge Holland, and a returning Sheamus.
