Jeff Jarrett’s last stint with WWE saw him work in the capacity of Senior Vice President of Live Events. Jarrett used to directly answer to Vince McMahon, but lost his job to Road Dogg after Triple H came to power. Tonight, the Last Outlaw showed up on AEW Dynamite.

Jeff Jarrett appeared after the opening contest between Darby Allin and Jay Lethal. Darby Allin lost the match to Lethal following an interference by someone dressed up as Sting.

The person was revealed to be Cole Karter. After Darby got back up on his feet, he got hit in the head with a guitar by Jeff Jarrett. That shot also busted Darby Allin open.

The multi-time world heavyweight champion cut a heel promo on AEW fans. Jarrett said Darby won’t be able to thrive any longer under the tutelage of Sting. It remains to be seen if Jeff Jarrett has signed a full-time deal with AEW or if that was a one-off appearance.
