WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world. He is also a controversial figure in the pro wrestling world, mostly due to his troubling relationship with WWE. He also might have been fired by Triple H for a good reason.

Jeff Jarrett made his return to WWE in May of this year, working backstage with the company. He was hired as Senior Vice President of Live Events. However, he was then fired recently.

Road Dogg was recently hired back by WWE and he took over Jeff Jarrett’s role in the company. While speaking on Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell stated that he believes Triple H fired Jeff Jarrett so he could hire back his friend Road Dogg.

“I think that Triple H was basically looking for a job for Road Dogg and he had to get rid of Jeff to put him in there. I think Jeff was doing great with that job because he’s been around the wrestling business for long. Road Dogg has been around the business his whole life and so has Jeff. I hate anybody losing their job.

If you think back, some of those old grudges follow hard and are never forgotten. I do think Triple H may not have liked Jeff [Jarrett] very much and was looking for a spot for Road Dogg, and I’m not saying this is true, but he wanted to put him in that spot that Jeff was in. You have to remember, Jeff is a Vince [McMahon] hire, and not a Triple H hire. Anyone who takes over the company want your people in there.”

Road Dogg is certainly glad to be back in WWE, even if he previously begged AEW for a job. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how Road Dogg will perform in his role.

Do you think Triple H really did this? Sound off in the comments!
