Cora Jade’s WWE career has been heavily inspired by AJ Lee. This was proved recently as she dressed up as AJ for Halloween. Now, AJ has responded back to the post by writing a very sweet tweet.

At a recent WWE event with a Halloween theme, Cora Jade dressed up as AJ Lee. Some NXT stars continued the Halloween season celebration by dressing as legendary and current top performers. Cora received an incredible response from AJ Lee in response to her AJ Lee costume.

Jade acknowledged The Black Widow by tweeting a picture of herself in costume. Jade tweeted, “Halloween battle royal tonight in #NXTMelbourne @WWENXT S/o to my mother @TheAJMendez.” A few hours later, Lee replied to Jade’s message and expressed her pleasure in the NXT champion.

AJ Lee was a WWE superstar for almost six years, becoming one of the company’s top female talents. In addition to three times winning the Divas Championship, the 35-year-old was one of the most well-liked television characters. Given her accomplishments, it is understandable why Cora looks up to her.

During a recent interview with Sean Sapp, Cora Jade spoke candidly about how Lee motivated her to achieve fame at that point. She was a fan of hers and thought they had many similarities, therefore, explaining her fondness for AJ.

It’s great to see WWE superstars exchanging good wishes and sharing positivity online. Not only does it cement better relationships, but also promotes healthy conversations among former and current stars. Only time will tell if AJ Lee ever finds her way back to WWE so she can work with Cora Jade.
