Cora Jade has been one of the most popular stars in all of NXT since her debut last year. She has seen considerable growth as well. She also idolizes Jon Moxley and, thanks to Mox, she has deathmatch wrestling on her bucket list.

Jon Moxley is the current AEW World Champion and made a career out of wrestling in very brutal and dangerous matches. This is especially true for his time in promotions such as GCW.

At GCW: Jimmy Lloyd’s Jersey Shore back in 2020, Jade competed against Jimmy Lloyd in a brutal death match. It is her only deathmatch so far. While speaking with Wrestling IncCora Jade revealed that Jon Moxley inspired her.

“I grew up a really big Jon Moxley fan before he became Dean Ambrose… I had this Jon Moxley five-disc set, and I grew up watching it, and I loved death match wrestling. I loved watching it, hardcore wrestling, loved all of it … So I was like, ‘One day, it’s a bucket list thing. I’m going to do a death match. I’m going to do it once to say that I did it.’ Which is what I did.”

Cora Jade was defeated by Roxanne Perez at WWE Halloween Havoc last week. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for her. Odds are she will continue going all out, as she is romantically linked in real life with Bron Breakker.
