The AEW All Out media scrum opened up a can of worms after CM Punk went nuclear on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks. It sent shockwaves throughout AEW, and fans continue to talk about it even now. That being said, CM Punk likely won’t be back in Tony Khan’s company.

CM Punk was then involved in a backstage brawl, where he fought with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. As previously reported, AEW has suspended everyone involved in the brawl. Ace Steel, who was also involved, was fired from the company.

Almost two months since the incident, things have died down when it comes to The Elite. They are expected to make their television return very soon. However, quite few people are still against Punk. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, notable top stars in the company refuse to work with Punk, should he be brought back to the company.

In Norfolk on 10/26, it was noted that several of the top people were saying that Punk would not be back. A few names were mentioned with Chris Jericho being the name mentioned most but that many if not most of the key top names were saying that they wouldn’t work with him.

One top star noted, “Punk won’t be back. His value on screen isn’t one percent worth the hassle and black cloud he causes backstage.”

Another top star noted the team has decided he’s out and regardless of some being willing to work with him, the collective decided that he was voted off the island.

CM Punk also hasn’t heard from AEW since the backstage brawl. In fact, AEW is largely ‘Anti-Punk’ right now as it is. We will have to wait and see if he comes back to the company or not.

Do you think Punk will ever come back to AEW? Sound off in the comments!
