Likely Plan For The Elite’s AEW Return

The AEW All Out media scrum ended in complete and utter chaos after CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks, verbally ruining everyone mentioned and then some. The action didn’t stop there, and we’re still seeing that play out to this day.

CM Punk was involved in a backstage brawl where he fought with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. AEW ended up suspending everyone involved in the brawl. All except for Ace Steel, who was fired.

As previously reported, The Elite were backstage during AEW Dynamite this week and had good time. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that The Elite are expected to go after the Trios Titles when they make their television return to the company.

“Im pretty sure they are going to be wrestling for the trios title when they come back.”

As of this writing, there has been no official announcement on The Elite’s return to AEW but they did air a teaser on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Alvarez hinted that there is a good possibility that they could return for AEW Full Gear but that remains to be seen.
