Fred Rosser formerly known as Darren Young in WWE spent over ten years in WWE. During his tenure with the promotion, he was involved with The Nexus stabstable,le as well as form a tag team with Titus O’Neil called Prime Time Players.

Since his departure from the company, Fred Rosser plied his trade in the independent circuit. Currently, he is the reigning Strong Openweight Champion. During a recent interview with Under The Ring, Fred Rosser revealed that he’s had conversations with WWE about a potential return.

“I always said just because moves aren’t being announced doesn’t mean moves aren’t being made,” Rosser said. “[I’m] always talking to WWE about what more can I do, whether it’s coaching or coming back to ‘NXT’ because it’s almost like nostalgia. It’s been over ten years since I was on ‘NXT.’ Just imagine me coming to ‘NXT’ with the Strong Openweight Champion to defend it. To just come through, I don’t have to stay.”

WWE has never let any wrestler who is currently active on another promotion participate in their show. However, they seemed to break that trend by allowing The Good Brothers to return to WWE despite Karl Anderson still being the current Never Openweight Champion in NJPW. So, you never know. With Triple H in charge, anything is possible.
