Andrade El Idolo made his debut in AEW last year, after a disappointing run in WWE. Fans were simply happy to see the Mexican star in AEW and hoped for many great things for El Idolo. Then things changed in recent memory.

Things have not been going well for AEW for the past couple of months. Andrade El Idolo was also involved in a backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara. He was actually sent home before AEW Dynamite.

Idolo was pulled from the show, but Sammy Guevara was left on the card. Many believed that the Mexican star intentionally tried to get fired by Tony Khan. Speaking on SmackTalkDutch Mantell blasted Tony Khan for not sending Sammy home after the brawl.

“If I was Tony Khan, I’d sit both of ’em home. I don’t care who spouted what, ’cause they were told not to do it. But I heard Sammy threw the first punch, that’s what I heard. Regardless of who threw it they were talked to, ‘we won’t do nothing’ and I keep hearing is that, Andrade wants to get fired.”
