Saraya Jokes About How Long People Have Mispronounced Her Name

Saraya’s WWE career was cut short due to recurring injuries. She parted ways with WWE in July and made her AEW debut couple of weeks ago. Saraya also wants her fans to know the proper pronunciation of her name.

Saraya took to Twitter on Sunday and made a lighthearted comment about how she’s wasted half her life telling people to properly pronounce her name. The AEW star posted an emoji to accompany the graphic.

Obviously, this is something she’s dealt with for a long time. We can only imagine what it’s like being in her shoes.

Saraya is expected to wrestle in AEW in near future and that was one of the things that prompted her to join the Jacksonville-based promotion. The AEW star has been repeatedly teasing a match with Dr. Britt Baker.

The two women got into a brawl during a previous episode of AEW Dynamite. The feud started after Britt Baker said AEW doesn’t need Saraya. Check out the proper pronunciation of her name in the video below.
