WWE has its presence in more than 150 countries across the globe and now the company wants to take its developmental brand to international markets including Japan and Mexico.

Shawn Michaels talked about WWE’s plans to take NXT international during the post-Halloween Havoc scrum. The WWE Hall of Famer share some exciting news in regards to the what WWE has in store for the white and gold brand.

“I know there’s been talks of NXT Japan and NXT Mexico. As I understand it those announcements could be coming down the road in 2023, so this company continues to grow and expand. I know a guy who’s interested in NXT and its expansion, so I’m sure those things aren’t very far down the line at all.”

For those not in the know, Triple H is very keen to expand his wrestling philosophy and the WWE product as a whole. Triple H and Shawn Michaels are already working to put NXT Europe on the map. We’ll have to wait till 2023 to find out.
