Tonight’s SmackDown is set to feature a women’s tag team championship match as Damage CTRL defends against Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi.

Tonight’s show will also feature an appearance from Logan Paul ahead of his championship match against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.

It should be interesting to see how things play out on tonight’s show.

Sheamus vs Solo Sikoa

The match kicks off with both men locked up, Sheamus backs Sikoa to the corner but Sikoa reverses before the referee breaks them up out of the corner. Sheamus gets in a wrist lock that Sikoa breaks out of with a right hand. Sheamus hits a lariat and Sikoa answers with a spinning heel kick. Sheamus throws Sikoa through the middle rope onto the apron and Sheamus goes for the 10 beats of the Bodhran but Sikoa breaks free and throws Sheamus outside the ring. Sikoa follows outside and hits a running kick to Sheamus against the ring stairs.

*Commercial break*

Back live with Sikoa hitting a running splash to Sheamus down in the corner. Sikoa goes for another but Sheamus pops out of the corner and hits a lariat. Sheamus hits the white noise and covers for a two count. Sheamus goes up top but Sikoa runs up to the counter to sit a Samoan drop from the top rope, Sikoa then covers for a two count. Sheamus catches a running Sikoa and plants him with a body slam. Sheamus hits with the 10 beats of the Bodhran. Sheamus backs into the corner but Sikoa dodges the brogue kick. Sheamus hits a running knee and covers but Sami Zayn climbs to the apron to distract the ref. The Usos and The Brawling Brutes brawl outside the ring, Sheamus dives off the top rope onto both Usos. Back in the ring Sikoa hits the spinning solo and covers for three.

Winner: Solo Sikoa

After the bell all of the Bloodline continues to beat down Sheamus. The Usos grab steel chairs and Sikoa places Sheamus’ arm through a chair on the stairs and Jey Uso repeatedly bashes into Sheamus’ arm.

Back live with a Bray Wyatt promo backstage. Wyatt talks about revenge, and how he wants to confess the problems that he has tonight. Wyatt says anger can take him places that he shouldn’t have come back from. Wyatt confesses that he was content with it being over and him being left alone. Wyatt says he wanted the fans to stop chanting his name. Wyatt references his match with Goldberg. Wyatt stares down the camera directly and says that on this journey he will do horrible things that he will no be sorry for, and he’s just a servant now and he “goes where this circle takes me”.

Liv Morgan vs Sonya Deville

The match begins with a lock up, Deville backs Morgan to the corner and shoves Morgan down to the mat. Morgan gets a roll up for a two count. Deville hits a drop kick and follows with a back stabber. Morgan gets a back slide and Deville rolls through and hits a big knee strike, Deville covers for a two count. Deville slams Morgan’s head off the turnbuckle, Deville dodges a drop kick and hits a kick to the mid section to knock Morgan outside of the ring.

*Commercial break*

The match continues live with Morgan breaking free of a headlock. Morgan hits an enziguri and follows with a running knee in the corner. Morgan goes up top but Deville counters with a knee. Morgan taunts Deville and laughs after Deville slaps her repeatedly before Morgan hits a take down and follows with a series of strikes. Morgan throws Deville out of the ring and Morgan slams Deville’s head of the stairs again and again until the referee makes the 10 count, ending the match in a double count out.

After the bell Morgan grabs multiple steel chairs and throws them in the ring. Morgan scatters all the chairs in a pile and puts Deville on the top rope. Morgan superplexes Deville onto the pile of chairs and Morgan laughs as she crawls through the ring.

Back live with Braun Strowman making his way out to the ring for his face to face confrontation with Omos. Strowman calls out MVP and Omos so that Omos can “look in the eyes of a real monster” MVP then walks out and says Strowman has always been the biggest man in the room, until he found himself in the presence of a real giant, Omos. MVP says that if Strowman wants to maintain his reputation as a monster he should stay away from Omos so that he doesn’t get exposed for what he really is. Strowman challenges Omos to a match at Crown Jewel and MVP accepts for Omos. Omos then makes his way down to the ring and stands right in front of Strowman and stares him down. Strowman moves closer and laughs in Omos’ face. Omos shoves Strowman all the way out of the ring and Omos and MVP walk to the back.

Drew McIntyre is interviewed backstage. McIntyre says that he was called to WWE HQ after his assault on Karrion Kross last week. McIntyre reveals that he was told this feud needs to end once and for all, and that it will be McIntyre vs Kross at Crown Jewel in a steel cage match, not a Hell in a Cell match as I’m sure everyone listening was assuming and hoping for.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Damage CTRL vs Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi

The match begins with Rodriguez and Sky in the ring. Rodriguez lifts Sky high in the air but Sky rolls through for a roll up for a quick two count. Kai tags in and Shotzi soon tags in as Rodriguez slams Kai to the mat. Shotzi hits a running splash to the corner and climbs to the top rope but Sky pulls Kai outside of the ring. Rodriguez slams Sky into Kai and then Rodriguez puts Shotzi on her shoulders and Shotzi dives outside to hit both opponents. Rodriguez has Kai up on her shoulders and Shotzi hits a drop kick to drop Kai and Shotzi covers for two. Kai hits a face buster and quickly tags Sky back in who hits Shotzi with a missile drop kick.

Back live with Shotzi making the tag to Rodriguez who hits a series of lariats to both opponents. Rodriguez hits a fall away slam and goes to the top rope. Sky meets her up top and knocks Rodriguez don and Sky hits a huge tornado DDT and covers for a two count. Sky goes for a moonsault but Rodriguez dodges and hits a big lariat before tagging Shotzi in. Bayley climbs to the apron to distract Shotzi long enough for Sky to take advantage and eventually hit the moonsault and cover for the three count.

Winners: Damage CTRL

Rey Mysterio vs Ludwig Kaiser

The match begins with Kaiser hitting a head lock take down. Rey rolls through a lariat and hits a drop kick. Mysterio dives off the top rope but Kaiser counters with an uppercut. Mysterio throws Kaiser down to the ropes and goes for the 619 but Imperium run up to the apron to stop Mysterio. Kaiser throws Mysterio outside and hits a bug uppercut outside the ring.

Back live with Kaiser hitting a kick to Mysterio’s head. Mysterio dodges a kick in the corner and climbs to the top rope but Kaiser meets him up top and goes for a superplex but Mysterio fights free and knocks Kaiser to the mat with a headbutt. Mysterio then hits a senton and hits a flying cross body off the middle rope. mysterio hits a moonsault from the middle rope and covers for two. Mysterio hits ten punches in the corner and pays tribute to Eddie Guerrero as the crowd chants Eddie’s name. Mysterio goes to the top rope but Kaiser grabs and attempts a power bomb but Mysterio is able to tip Kaiser over the top rope and outside the ring. Mysterio grabs a chair and throws it to Gunther who slaps the chair down as Mysterio flops to the floor. The re turns around and sees Mysterio down and ejects Gunther and Vinci. Back in the ring Mysterio htis a huricanrana to send Kaiser to the ropes. Mysterio hits the 619 and covers for the three count. Winner: Rey Mysterio

SmackDown returns with Logan Paul making his way out to the ring. Paul says he is confident in himself and his abilities. He says he doesn’t need a Paul Heyman or the Usos to protect him. Jey Uso runs in the ring to attack Paul from behind. Jey slams Paul to the corner and hits a super kick and a running splash in the corner. Sami Zayn runs in to try and get Jey to leave the ring. Jey goes to leave the ring but turns back and Paul hits a big uppercut and leaves the ring, smackDown goes off the air with Logan Paul walking off victoriously.
