Último Dragón is returning to America. At this coming Saturday’s Revolución de la Lucha Libre event in San Jose, Último Dragón and Misterioso will face off against Border Patrol. For the live audience at Mt. Pleasant High School, watching the greatest and most decorated Japanese luchador of all time will be a treat.

Asai, Último Dragón, has continued to perform even though the great majority of his peers have stopped. Chris Jericho, one of Asai’s competitors, is still active and more effective than ever. According to Sports Illustrated, Asai would be very interested in facing Jericho if AEW owner Tony Khan ever suggested a match.

I am honestly not very familiar with AEW. But if I have the opportunity, I would really like to participate in one of their shows and end my rivalry with Jericho.

The masked superstar, who is now 55, has achieved success in the US, Mexico, and Japan. In particular, his battles against Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, and Juventud Guerrera gave the WCW cruiserweight class more energy. He was a member of the renowned “Monday Night Wars.”

Último Dragón made history when his signature moonsault was formally dubbed the Asai Moonsault during his tenure in WCW and when he twice won the cruiserweight and TV belts. Gabe Ramirez, the incredibly brilliant booker for this weekend’s Revolución de la Lucha Libre event that also features Rush and Bandido, is in charge of the lineup. He regularly sends top-notch cards to California, notably those featuring the best luchadores in the entire globe.
