Cody Rhodes has been out of action in WWE ever since he tore his pec and competed in the Hell in a Cell match back in June. Now during his recovery, he made a trip to his employer’s archives facilities and encounter a familiar prop.

On his Instagram Stories, Rhodes had a staredown with Triple H’s iconic King of King’s throne that he used for a couple of Wrestlemania’s in the past. That’s bringing back memories for Cody.

Rhodes has a history with Triple H’s throne. At Double or Nothing in 2019, he destroyed a replica of the throne prior to his match with his wife Brandi by his side. At the time, that was one of the more talked about moments from that pay-per-view.

It’s currently unknown why Cody was there. Maybe he had a virtual meeting with The Game and other executives regarding his future.
