PW Insider reports that Cassidy took on Pac for the All-Atlantic Championship during the main event of Dynamite in Toronto, Canada. The match contained plenty of action. Cassidy won the match with a second orange punch. Following the show, the champ decided to address the crowd.

Cassidy received “You Deserve It” chants and a big round of applause after cameras went offline. He then addressed the crowd, and said. “Hey Canada, look what I did.” Cassidy noted that he doesn’t like carrying things around and asked for his backpack which brought Kris Statlander with the backpack, where he placed his title.

Cassidy remarked that now that he has the title, he can go wherever he wants. He also urged the audience to return tomorrow for Rampage tapings. Tony Khan ultimately walked out at the ringside and hugged Cassidy as he spoke with the fans.

This is Cassidy’s first AEW title. It’s worth mentioning that he has been with the company for a long time and has become a fan favorite as well, so this is a major win.
