Matt Riddle Believes Daniel Cormier Should Have A Match In WWE

Matt Riddle wasted no time in becoming highlight of WWE television after he finally inked a deal following an impressive stint in the indies. His in-ring skills and chill character work instantly made him beloved as well.

Daniel Cormier was the special guest referee in the Fight Pit match between Seth “Freaking” Rollins and Matt Riddle at Saturday’s WWE Extreme Rules. Fans were also appreciative of what Cormier did.

While speaking on ESPN MMA’s DC&RC show, Matt Riddle stated that Daniel Cormier did an excellent job at Extreme Rules. Riddle added that Cormier should wrestle a match in WWE.

“You know, I think everybody performed well. I personally dig DC though, I think he did a great job refereeing. But I think he’s bigger and stronger and better than just refereeing, you know. I think DC should lace up some boots and step into the squared circle, that’s just my opinion.”

With his MMA skills, Cormier should have no problem competing. We will have to wait and see whether the UFC legend will end up wrestling in WWE or not.
