Andrade El Idolo made a name for himself working in CMLL in Mexico as well as New Japan Pro Wrestling. He then improved a lot in WWE and eventually debuted in AEW.
Andrade El Idolo spent several years in WWE and is well aware of how the company functions. For quite a while now fans have been disappointed with how Andrade has been booked in AEW.
Andrade has even teased leaving AEW for the past couple of weeks as well. While speaking on My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, Tony Khan, hyped up Andrade’s match against 10 of the Dark Order, stating that fans might not mind if Andrade Leaves AEW.
“Andrade is a terrible guy. If Andrade loses this match, he would leave AEW forever, and frankly, you know, the way things have gone with Andrade and the way things have carried on, I think a lot of people might not mind that, but it’ll be an interesting situation to follow.”
Andrade El Idolo is set to face off against Preston Vance, where he put his career on the line. We will have to wait and see whether Idolo will leave AEW or not.
