Sammy Guevara has been one of the staples of AEW television since his debut back in 2019. In fact, he competed in AEW Dynamite’s first ever match where he was defeated by Cody Rhodes.

The Spanish God has been involved in a lot of drama as of late. It started with his backstage altercation with Eddie Kingston but was resolved soon enough. Afterwards, Andrade El Idolo stated that Guevara complained about him being too stiff in the ring.

This led to Gevara blasting Andrade, telling him to go back to WWE. While speaking on his vlog, Sammy Guevara stated that he is exhausted of people starting drama with him in AEW.

“There’s just so much drama that goes on in wrestling, it’s really exhausting, It’s tiring. Seems like every couple of weeks is something I’m minding my own business, on vacation, and then, you know, people want to start drama with me. It is what it is. It’s the life I signed up for, I suppose. But it’s definitely tiring and maybe I’ll need to go on another vacation next week because… [sighs] stressful.”

It is unlikely Sammy Guevara will ever leave AEW, but crazier things have happened such as Cody himself leaving for WWE. We’ll have to see what Guevara will do in the end.
