Paige had absolutely no choice but to retire from in-ring competition in 2017 and that brought about a lot of changes in general. She remained relevant in other roles for years after that, but she never wrestled again.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion left the company back in July after WWE decided not to renew her contract for some reason. She then made her All Elite Wrestling debut during ‘Dynamite: Grand Slam.

On last week’s Dynamite, Saraya told fans that she plans to bring the revolution to AEW before she was interrupted by Britt Baker. She took a shot at WWE during her promo as well and this angered fans. She also made a few blunders as well.

While speaking on a recent episode of Keepin’ 100, Konnan assessed Saraya’s AEW Dynamite promo, Konnon criticized Saraya for her promo, stating that it was revolting

“I like Paige personally because I know her, I like her professionally, I’ve always liked her but this was way too long and I thought it was kind of unprofessional to say ‘Don’t wrap me up, I’ll stop when I want’ because if that was a shoot, you just said it into someone’s segment, okay?

Way too much Saraya, because afterwards she was on commentary, no need for the lumberjacks, okay? And I’ve said this before, I think the star now is Hayter, and what do they do? They have Willow run her off, like really? She goes ‘I am the revolution’ that was really more like revolting.’

When she actually said, ‘Toni Storm is being utilized to her full potential’ some people booed. I think people see what I’ve said. She doesn’t work the crowd, she’s not charismatic, she doesn’t take command of the ring, she doesn’t act like a star albeit she’s a good worker and good looking.”

Saraya also promised to change the women’s division in AEW. We will have to wait and see how Saraya will fare in AEW in the coming months.
