WWE is always looking to hire more talent who will help with the company’s overall growth. They always hold tryouts in order to determine the best new talent for their roster.

Karl Fredericks was recently seen at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando as well. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Fredericks received a private tryout with company officials.

Fredericks began wrestling in 2015 but started with NJPW as a Young Lion at the LA Dojo in 2018, and graduated in 2020. He won the Young Lion Cup in 2019. He made headlines back in the summer when his NJPW contract expired on August 1.

Fredericks expressed his frustration at having his NJPW run in such a way. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether he will end up working in WWE or not.
