Andrade El Idolo Drops Cryptic Message Indicating Feelers From WWE

Andrade El Idolo is one of the most promising superstars in AEW. All Elite Wrestling signed him last year and he appeared at the AEW Double or Nothing show. El Idolo also tweeted mysterious message recently.

The tweet follows news reports claiming that WWE has been in contact with specific business wrestlers. Malakai Black received his conditional release, as was mentioned over the weekend, and he has said he is taking a break from wrestling to deal with personal matters. Buddy Matthews announced over the weekend that he will also be taking a break from professional wrestling to rest.

It appears like Matthews is still employed by AEW because the business wished him a happy birthday. However, there have been reports concerning a few other names who may have received feelers from WWE. Matthews received feelers, and Ryan Frederick said that they may have also sent feelers to Andrade.

Andrade posted a tweet that featured an hourglass. Andrade last competed in a match when he participated in the Casino Ladder Match at All Out. The message can be interpreted as him preparing to return to AEW TV, but in light of recent speculations, some fans on social media are speculating that he might also make an appearance for WWE.

Andrade was called up to the WWE main roster, but he was underutilized. His AEW run hasn’t been that remarkable, either with his matches involving his faction or as an individual performer. There is currently no indication that he is quitting AEW. Check out the cryptic tweet below.
