AEW President Tony Khan is certainly very passionate about pro wrestling and that is a fact now. He has been booking AEW since its inception and not everyone likes his booking.

During the post-AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk went nuclear on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks. It then devolved into a very messy brawl backstage, leading to many people getting suspended.

Tony Khan also vacate the AEW World Title as well as the Trios Titles on Dynamite this week and changed up a lot of things. While speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy gave props to Tony Khan for reshuffling the deck well with AEW Dynamite this week.

“It certainly took people by surprise, especially because we did a complete refresh on the Dynamite that followed because we reset our champions. I thought Tony Khan did a good job reshuffling the deck and giving a great Dynamite. It’s going to be interesting to see what the ratings are going to be. I imagine, because there was so much buzz on AEW all week, and buzz is buzz. it makes a lot of people want to tune into AEW. I’m very curious as to what the numbers are. Fortunately, it was a great show too.”

Punk’s backstage altercation could also become legal issue soon. The situation is a dire one and we will have to wait and see how well Tony Khan will be able to handle it all.
