Why Ace Steel Went Ballistic During CM Punk’s Backstage Brawl With The Elite

During the post-AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk went nuclear on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks. It was reported that Omega and the Bucks threatened to leave AEW over Punk’s words after a huge backstage melee broke out afterward. Now, we have more details about what was behind that explosive scene.

CM Punk got into an altercation with The Elite and this also involved Ace Steel, who was said to have thrown a steel chair that hit Nick Jackson in the eye. Sean Sapp reported from behind Fightful’s paywall that the reason for Steel going “ballistic” was because his wife was in the vicinity during the altercation, with sources claiming that he was just looking out for her. Steel’s wife also had an injured foot before the chaos ensued.

It was further said that Omega was not really upset initially before getting bitten by the AEW producer. Steel is also expected to be fired after the altercation backstage.
