Ace Steel Expected To Be Fired After AEW All Out Post Media Scrum Fight

CM Punk made his debut last year at AEW Rampage: The First Dance and instantly became one of their top stars. He eventually became the AEW World Champion, but things have not been good for him as of late.

During the post-AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk went nuclear on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. It was reported that Omega and the Bucks threatened to leave AEW over Punk’s words.

CM Punk got into an altercation with The Elite and this also involved Ace Steel, who was said to have thrown a steel chair that hit Nick Jackson. Sean Sapp reported from behind Fightful’s paywall that Ace Steel is expected to be fired after the altercation.

We’re told that “Ace Steel shoot cracked Nick Jackson with a chair,” with another person saying they think he’s lucky to not be in jail. Several sources in AEW that we spoke with said that they believe Ace Steel will not be back in the company after this incident. PWinsider had also noted Steel’s wife was said to have been around, caring for Punk’s dog. The story of Nick Jackson having a black eye came from Steel throwing a chair at him.

Steel has been working as a producer for AEW and played an on-screen role over recent weeks. Punk’s backstage altercation could also become legal issue soon. We’ll keep you updated on this ongoing story.
