AEW has come a long way since its inception in 2019. The company has undergone a lot of changes over the years. Christopher Daniels also commented on reports of AEW’s backstage issues.

However, not everything is going well with AEW right now. On top of a slew of injuries, the company also has lot of drama involving CM Punk. In addition to that, there were even more backstage issues with Thunder Rosa, Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara.

Ringside News also exclusively reported that Tony Khan’s unprofessional behavior was an issue. He even had to beg high-ranking backstage staffer not to quit over his outbursts. That caused TK to promote a few names within the company to lighten his load.

While speaking to Headlock Wrestling Podcast, Christopher Daniels was asked about the reports on AEW’s backstage issues. Daniels claimed that everything is going fine in AEW.

“The wrestling internet sees what they see from the outside. Everything is going fine in AEW. We just promoted Tony Schiavone, QT Marshall, Sonjay Dutt, and Pat Buck.”

“We’re tightening the ship and trying to get everything in a good place for us. Right now, we have a successful television show. Dynamite is doing very well for TBS, Rampage is doing well for TNT. Hopefully, the international fans are enjoying it as well. Everything is going very well for us, we’re very happy for the success we’ve had, and we’re going upwards and onwards.”

We will have to wait and see whether the backstage environment in the company will get better or not. For the time being, things do not look good for the company. If anything, Christopher Daniels says that everything is fine.
